Evidence Based Longevity (EBL) is seeking a motivated, intelligent part-time assistant to help build what we believe can become one of the world’s leading evidence-based longevity resources.
Our mission is simple:
Separate scientific evidence from marketing hype by evaluating supplements, medications, medical devices, laboratory testing, and longevity interventions using human clinical research.
The website is already well underway, but there is still a tremendous amount to build. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and working with AI to dramatically increase productivity.
Responsibilities include:
• Updating and improving website pages
• Working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development
• Creating new pages from templates
• Organizing data and research
• Testing new features
• Helping improve user experience
• General technical assistance as the project grows
Qualifications
You do NOT need to know everything.
I’m looking for someone who:
• Learns quickly
• Is dependable
• Enjoys figuring things out
• Can work independently
• Is comfortable using AI as a development partner
• Has basic web development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript preferred)
• Experience with GitHub is a plus
• WordPress experience is helpful but not required
Hours
Approximately 10-25 hours per week to start, with flexibility.
Hybrid or remote may be possible depending on experience. Local candidates in the Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley area are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Hourly pay based on experience.
This is a startup, but there is significant opportunity for increased responsibility and long-term growth as the company expands.
