Life Wellness Medical Center provides high quality Chiropractic and Dermatology services in the Diamond Bar area. We offer a wide variety of beauty, skin care, weight loss and body treatments to enhance well-being and a wellness regimen, including specialty facial treatments, spa body treatments, micro-needling, physical therapy, acupuncture and therapeutic massage.
Life Wellness Medical Center is looking for a compassionate CA State Licensed Acupuncturist whom accepts PPO insurance and is interested in joining our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed patient assessments and develop comprehensive acupuncture treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality acupuncture treatments with proper technique and safety
- Use adjunct modalities such as cupping, gua sha, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal recommendations when appropriate
- Educate patients about TCM concepts, lifestyle changes, and self-care techniques
- Document all treatments accurately and promptly (SOAP notes, diagnosis codes, billing support)
- Work collaboratively with massage therapists, chiropractors, and front desk staff to support patient care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and calming treatment room atmosphere
Qualifications:
- California Acupuncture License (active and in good standing)
- Strong clinical knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture theory, and point location
- Proficient in treating pain conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, stress, anxiety, fatigue, and general wellness
- Experience with or willingness to use electroacupuncture, cupping therapy, and other TCM adjunct techniques
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional bedside manner
- Ability to build rapport with patients and provide a compassionate, healing experience
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage a steady flow of patients with efficiency and care
- Familiarity with medical documentation and insurance coding is a plus
Job Type: Part-time. Flexible hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.
