FOUNTAIN VALLEY CHIROPRACTIC is looking for a licensed, energetic, and knowledgeable associate Doctor of Chiropractic who is a continuous learner and passionate about using chiropractic modalities and progressive rehabilitation to help improve the quality of life of our patients. You will play a vital role in patient care, education, retention, rehabilitation, patient outcomes, the patient experience and marketing the clinic services.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate the functioning of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the spine using systems of chiropractic diagnosis.
- Perform a series of manual and non-manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system.
- Maintain accurate case histories of patients, SOAP notes, and advise patients about recommended courses of treatment.
- Intake patients’ details case history, conduct/perform physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays and MRI’s.
- Diagnosed and treated musculoskeletal conditions of the spinal column and extremities to reduce or eliminate pain and correct other abnormalities of body.
- Performed treatments focusing on the cause of musculoskeletal dysfunctions utilizing physical therapy modalities, rehab exercises, spinal tractions, heat/cold therapy, and MFR techniques.
- Alleviate pain in patients of all ages and personal injury patients.
- Provided supplementary measures, such as exercise, rest, water, light, heat and nutritional therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong ability to effectively communicate diagnostic test results, diagnose, and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by the patients
- Demonstrated compassion for patients
- Attending seminars with the doctor to improve marketing skills, hand on performance, continues education, and to gain knowledge on how to run a successful practice.
- Writing narrative reports for personal injury cases
- Take vital signs of patients such as blood pressure, heart rate, height, and weight.
Job Requirements:
- Current Chiropractic License
- Applicant must carry his/her own liability/Mal-Practice insurance
- Strict professional work ethic

- Excellent computer skills (word doc, excel, PowerPoint, etc…)

Applicant must possess knowledge of the following:
- Knowledge of ICD 10/CPT codes, insurance billing, and managing personal injury cases are a plus.
- Experience working in a PI clinical setting is a plus
- Spanish bilingual is a plus
Job Type: Part time for Now; Ideal for newly graduated looking to start immediately; however, experienced chiropractor is a plus.
