Advance Your Career with Purpose: Become a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME)
Dear Esteemed Chiropractic Professional,
Your expertise as a chiropractic doctor places you in a unique position to make a meaningful impact beyond the clinical setting. By becoming a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), you can contribute to resolving disputes in the Workers’ Compensation system while advancing your professional growth.
As a QME, you will be appointed by the California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) to provide impartial medical evaluations that help bridge the gap between injured workers and employers. Your clinical judgment will ensure fairness and clarity in medical-legal cases. This opportunity is open to doctors whose licenses are in good standing and who demonstrate professionalism, ethics, thoroughness, and an unwavering commitment to unbiased evaluations.
Why Choose to Become a QME?
- Flexible Commitment: Tailor your schedule to your availability, typically working 3–5 days a month.
- Substantial Supplemental Income: Earn an additional $5,000–$20,000 per month, enhancing your financial stability while continuing your practice.
- Professional Development: Expand your expertise into the medical-legal field, gaining new insights and enhancing your professional reputation.
- Streamlined Operations: With our support, administrative tasks like case referrals, billing, and payment collection are handled for you, so you can focus on delivering exceptional evaluations.
Comprehensive Training and Ongoing Support
We deeply respect the dedication and skill you bring to your profession. That’s why we provide robust training, quality assurance (QA), and mentorship to ensure your success as a QME. From your first evaluation to mastering complex case reviews, we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
Upcoming Opportunity
The QME exam is held every April and October, with the next exam scheduled for April 2025. To prepare, you can sign up for a five-day training course in March through ICAC, typically priced at $1,500. While you are responsible for this training fee and the satellite clinic registration fee with the Chiropractic Board, our company provides substantial support by sharing most other costs, including administrative expenses.
Additionally, when you sign a contract with our company, you’ll receive a free exam preparation packet valued at $2,500, specifically designed to help you excel in the QME exam. This resource has proven highly effective—while the typical passing rate for the QME exam is 50%, 80% of doctors who signed up with our company passed the exam in October 2024.
A Career with Purpose and Impact
This is more than just an opportunity for supplemental income. It’s a chance to serve as a trusted voice in the Workers’ Compensation system, providing ethical and unbiased evaluations that promote fairness and resolution. Your role as a QME will extend the compassion, precision, and dedication you already demonstrate in your practice.
If you are a chiropractic doctor with a license in good standing who is committed to ethical, thorough, and unbiased care, we encourage you to take advantage of this upcoming opportunity.
