Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Pay Range: $56.00 – $58.00 per hour
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our patient care team. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving patients’ health and functional outcomes by evaluating and treating physical conditions, restoring mobility, and teaching adaptive techniques for daily living and work-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
Conduct evaluations of muscular, skeletal, neurological, and other physical conditions; develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records in accordance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements. - Patient Education:
Instruct patients on therapeutic exercises, proper use of supports, injury prevention, and workplace ergonomics. - Professional Development:
Participate in center meetings, training, and continuing education to remain current with best practices and industry advancements.
Qualifications
- Education & Licensure:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Master’s Degree preferred but not required)
- Active Physical Therapy License in the State of California
- Experience:
- Experience in an orthopedic setting using modalities, therapeutic exercises, and isokinetic equipment
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and PHI regulations
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records
- Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions in a medical environment
- Strong time management, planning, and workload management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain accurate patient care records and reports
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, management, and staff
- Successful completion of orientation and training demonstrating competency in all required physical therapy tasks
